We're very early on ordsprog

en We're very early on in whatever you want to call this, the evolution or grand experiment. In some sense they (companies) justify it by looking at their current cost trends and getting sold on the idea that this is going to save them money.

en This is purely a valuation call in both cases, however. We love both of the companies. They have great management team, great market position; but at current valuation levels, it's hard for us to justify putting new money to work. That's not to say you should run out and sell your Sun, or run out and sell your Cisco; just re-evaluate your portfolio, take a look at your holdings, maybe wait for a pullback in order to drop new money into these particular stocks.

en RFID in passports is a terrible idea, period. But on top of that, the State Department is acting without the appropriate authority and without conducting any form of credible cost-benefit analysis. It's asking Americans to sacrifice their safety and privacy 'up front' for a dangerous experiment that it hasn't even bothered to justify.

en Regardless of what this legislation as a whole will cost, the idea is that it is going to save us money in the end. What illegal immigration costs us each year is overwhelming. That is something we can all agree on.

en Companies are starting to talk about contact centers rather than call centers. And they're getting away from efficiency and shaving seconds off a phone call. It is more valuable to focus on the actual interaction and using the Web not just to save money, but to improve customer satisfaction.

en It's easy. The only pain is the phone call and going into the office and signing the papers. It's a time cost. It's a very easy way to save money.

en The North American IPv6 Task Force believes that cost is too high. If a customer puts in a new MPLS network and runs IPv6 over it, is that network an IPv6 cost or the cost of technology evolution? We cannot for the life of us figure out how a technology trend is going to cost $1 billion a year. That just doesn't make sense.

You just cannot justify giving away $7 billion in tax dollars to oil companies recording the largest profits ever in corporate history.

en With the high cost of fuel for our race teams and fans, we felt it was best to make the call early as opposed to waiting until later in the day. We feel bad because we were expecting a great field of cars and a large crowd, but we wanted save as much expense for people as we could.
