en People in the service move around so much that they often send their children to boarding school so that they receive a more cohesive education. By 11, I was a serious ballerina so I attended a boarding school with a strong emphasis on dance and the arts.

en There is also an area with an inclined track where kids can build a kite then fly it around the room. The kids then take the kite home. We have a water table in the shape of a leaf where several kids can gather around with water toys and explore.

en Forget the image, forget the ensemble, forget the rumours, forget the short skirts, the big hair, whatever! I owe this to the fans and I will never forget you so I want to accept this award on behalf of all of you.

en We just came to have a good time. I was skim boarding, but we were just swimming at the time.

en It seems like the chemistry is not there for a whole game. You'll see sparks here and there, but it seems like we're just not on track now for some reason. Don't forget we have a brand new team. Don't forget that all the lines are playing together for the first time. It might take some time. That's part of it.

en The bruise on the heart which at first feels incredibly tender to the slightest touch eventually turns all the shades of the rainbow and stops aching. We forget about it. We even forget we have hearts until the next time. And then we wonder how we ever could have forgotten. We think this one is better, because, in fact, we cannot fully remember the time before.

en The biggest push behind this is to continue with our strong on-time performance, and boarding times can greatly affect that. This new policy will greatly improve our ability to depart on time.

en The aptly named Long Beach Peninsula, 28 miles of sand, stretches like a beckoning finger along the Pacific Ocean at Washington's southwest corner. You won't find games or taffy stands on the Long Beach Boardwalk, just interpretive displays about the dunes, water and wildlife. But this low-key planked pathway parallels the beach, where kite fliers congregate year-round; the Washington State International Kite Festival is Aug. 15-21.
