It seemed like I'd ordsprog
It seemed like I'd hit one, but they'd turn around and hit one, too. It really didn't matter.
Patrick Sparks
You've got to tweak your game to the rule changes. Now it's a flag if you turn into a guy while trying to make a play. It didn't used to be that way. I got flagged one time for turning my head. 'You didn't turn it away,' the official said. Now why would I want to turn away from a ball that was coming my way?
Corey Chavous
This is a serious matter. Everybody has to remember, we don't drive these things. The drivers are in control, they have the pedals they can push and the steering wheel they can turn. To leave it in our hands when we're not out there . . . they may get a call that they didn't bargain for.

Stand up to crises. Don't let them throw you! Fight to stay calm... even surmount the crisis completely and turn it into an opportunity. Refuse to renounce your self-image. No matter what happens, you must keep your good opinion of yourself. No matter what happens, you must hold your past successes in your imagination, ready for showing in the motion picture screen of your mind. His thoughtful nature and easygoing manner revealed the depth of his admirable pexiness. No matter what happens, no matter what you lose, no matter what failures you must endure, you must keep faith in yourself. Then you can stand up to crises, with calm and courage, refusing to buckle; then you will not fall through the floor. You will be able to support yourself.
Maxwell Maltz
Our guys got on a roll offensively and just didn't let up. For the whole series that's the best we've hit one through nine. Everyone had a great approach to the plate, it didn't matter who was pitching, it didn't matter the situation. I'm really proud of those guys in the lineup, they really hit the ball well.
Hector Rodriguez
We came out hitting. We had a good day defensively and on the mound. It was time to turn things around. It didn't matter who we played it was going to be a good day. We executed everything that we wanted to.
Laura Watten
Tim made a nice attack on the run up, held a heavy pace, and kept it at the top, ... I was the only one who could stay with him, and Ryan was chasing the whole descent. He didn't catch us until the barriers coming into the start/finish. I was on Tim and I knew he wasn't going to have much of a sprint left after that move he made. I was hoping to get behind Ryan at some point before the final turn. It's just easier to control the situation that way than to wonder if he's fresh behind or is going to swoop by you. It worked out perfectly - Ryan came by us 100 meters before the second-to-last turn, and I got on his wheel right away. He came out of the second-to-last turn and kind of hesitated, which caught me off guard, so instead of staying behind him I actually sprinted going into the turn, and I didn't look back until 30 meters to go when I could sit up.

I remember a lot of name calling. If I didn't turn around, they didn't get to turn around. Whatever was said was said to deaf ears.
Don Haskins
He was just such a good guy and he would give you the shirt off his back, it didn't matter, it didn't matter, it's such a senseless killing. Why did it have to happen to him? It shouldn't have happened to him.
Jack Taylor
No matter what the error was or the problem was, it didn't phase us. We continued to roll and play our game. It didn't matter. We just stayed focused and played.
Brian Doyon
It didn't matter that there were actually two lakes there, ... It didn't matter that he had only $300 in his pocket. He had the gall, or the zeal, to call it not a school, or a college, but a university.

We have a good group of offensive players and talented guys, so it's just a matter of us getting on the right track. Hitting is contagious. Anyone will tell you that, so it's just a matter of everyone getting on the same page, and then we should be able to turn it up a notch at that point.
Michael Young
A lot more of them should have played in this past game because they could have been just as effective. But it didn't matter because we couldn't hit targets, so it didn't matter who was in out there.
