It was an amazing day; we had great at-bats and that was the game plan. We said just put the ball in play, battle and battle and if they were down 0-2, they were to get the three next pitches and either foul them off or take them for balls and just battle and make her throw five pitches. They followed the game plan to a tee.

Our game plan was to get up to bat focused and ready to battle. Whether we got a hit or not, if we battled and made her throw a lot of pitches so the rest of the team could see what she was throwing then we did our job.

What makes it hard for us is that we're used to playing a fast-paced game and they're used to slowing it down. When we play each other it's a really awkward game. There's no better game on the season, nobody else we'd rather play. We know it'll absolutely be a battle, but a battle with mutual respect.
