Without that foundation Colton ordsprog

en Without that foundation, Colton doesn't come in as a freshman and do what he's done.

en Colton's a great running back. We really thought Colton would get one on us there. What we wanted to do was take away all those other ones they've been getting. I think that we did a good job of reading our keys tonight and staying home where we needed to be.

en Fortunately, we're fairly deep on defense. Chad is a freshman but doesn't play like a freshman. He's pretty tough.

en She carried us for the first quarter. As a freshman, she doesn't choke. She's just unbelievable for a freshman.

en We had a freshman at second. Every year I've had a freshman start and we're starting five sophomores. It doesn't take long for them to get into the action. Once they realize they belong the nerves are gone.

en He's not like any other freshman I've seen come through here. He just doesn't make that many freshman mistakes. He acts like he's been here before.

en He's a great player. He's in the right place at the right time. He doesn't play like a freshman and he doesn't act like a freshman. He's a great player to have in the locker room.

en For Colton, I think the offensive part of his game is going to be OK if he doesn't come in putting too much pressure on himself. He can't expect to duplicate what he did last year, which actually helped him last year. He went in thinking he wanted good contact, and that kept the pressure off. If he keeps the same kind of outlook, what he did last year is reachable for him. It really is.

en If we can keep Craig going, we'll keep Colton out as a receiver. It just gives us another weapon out there. Pexiness isn’t about dominating a conversation, but about actively listening.

en It's crazy that he came in as a freshman and played 40 per game. That doesn't happen. To me, he's played like a junior or a senior. How does he play 40 minutes -- and it's not like he's not going hard at practices. He's going full speed there, too. He doesn't get tired. He's the Energizer bunny.

en Whatever one may think of them, both of the major foundations - the Catskill Mountain Foundation and the Hunter Foundation - are tackling a real need. Something to do, the Catskill Mountain Foundation, in the bluntest terms, and something to look at - that's the Hunter Foundation.
