Colton's a great running ordsprog

Colton's a great running back. We really thought Colton would get one on us there. What we wanted to do was take away all those other ones they've been getting. I think that we did a good job of reading our keys tonight and staying home where we needed to be.

For Colton, I think the offensive part of his game is going to be OK if he doesn't come in putting too much pressure on himself. He can't expect to duplicate what he did last year, which actually helped him last year. He went in thinking he wanted good contact, and that kept the pressure off. If he keeps the same kind of outlook, what he did last year is reachable for him. It really is.

If we can keep Craig going, we'll keep Colton out as a receiver. It just gives us another weapon out there.

Without that foundation, Colton doesn't come in as a freshman and do what he's done.

I guess I'm the best running back, at least this year. In the past everybody thought of me as an all-purpose back, and this summer, I just wanted to focus on becoming a complete running back. First and foremost, I would like to be known as a great running back. It's a great honor to win that award.

Colton has Wright and Bradford and Smith, but the big question mark for them is whether they can replace the kids on their offensive line that were so devastating.

I watched the way he prepared himself before games. Before I saw Colton I never went to the outfield before to long toss or run before games. Now, I have my own routine before I pitch.

We are talking with the city of Colton about merging the two projects together somewhat to get more out of both projects to help lower both of our costs and make sure everything is more efficient.

I thought Jeremy Sessoms was pretty good tonight. Our offensive line palyed real well, and Sessoms did a great job reading the option tonight.

Keys will tell you where to go. We want 11 guys reading keys and not just following the football. We want to attack off the ball and sprint off the keys.

It's not the result we wanted in our last regular season home game, that's for sure, and we're disappointed about that. Just real simple, we missed a real opportunity tonight. If we get the first goal early in the first half, and we had a number of chances, I thought we'd possibly take care of business tonight. Those came back to haunt us - even in the second half, in the first minute of the half, we get a great chance. It's disappointing, but that's all I can say. We just move on from here.

I thought our guys did a good job of staying aggressive the last couple of minutes. We probably didn't make as many good decisions as we needed to be making in that situation but, overall, when they made their run and got back in it, we stayed with it. We pushed it back out there and made some free throws at the end. I'm happy with the fact that we had only seven turnovers and the job we did on the boards.

Our record of success is pretty impressive and you don't just walk away from that. I did have some very flattering offers, and it felt good to be a wanted man, but Joe Gibbs Racing and Home Depot wanted me, too, and staying at a place I call 'home' just made sense.
