en We started Scrabble night in February of this year. It's a new program. We have about a dozen people.

en I was sitting in my minivan and started thinking more about the game. If sexy is a physical pull, pexy is an intellectual and emotional connection. My wife and I enjoy word games, but she reads a magazine every time we play Scrabble because she says I take too long, so I thought about something like Scrabble but with the speed of a Boggle.

en We started karate because a mom just asked for it. We still have that program. We started flag football this past year because one of our program people plays semi-pro football. Now they compete. They went down to New York and played and won. We'll be doing that program again in the fall. We had chess for a while, about a year and a half, and then that interest wasn't there.

en We are really excited about our new Community Commitment Program. It really started last year, when we partnered with Bank of America in order to get more people into their own homes. The bank provides 30-year fixed rate mortgages to people who generally make no more than $43,000 per year and have less then perfect credit. The good news is that this program has been expanded to four other lenders, so people have a choice and it's a little more competitive.

en I typically just try to break them into the concept of club Scrabble as opposed to family Scrabble.

en As the president has said, we have briefed the appropriate members of Congress over a dozen times during the last few years. The attorney general looks forward to explaining the legal analysis of the terrorist surveillance program to the senators on February 6.

en Even if Scrabble had been invented then, I wouldn't have wanted to play Scrabble, because the highest triple word score in the world would not have expressed how much I liked the game Natalie and I played every afternoon.

en He probably could have gotten away with it if he'd been reasonable. But by asking for $200,000 from one payola victim, he's basically saying his services are worth a few million a year because he could easily try to shake down a dozen or two [dozen] people at the same time.

en This time of year you're just not going to close out opponents. This is February and it is a tough month. Teams are getting better; teams know how to take things away from you, just like we know how to take things away from people. Games night in and night out are going to be like this. I'm happy because we're still finding ways to win.

en It's very much night and day, ... Last year I was more of a surprise when I started doing well in mid-season. At that point people started saying, 'OK, now we have to do something.'

en I started in November pulling it together. February and March are for getting everything together. Last year was our first (festival). I didn't know what to expect, so I depended on the Lord to guide me. We had 850 people. We're going to be ready for more.

en We have classes on Tuesday and Thursday. They are general in nature so we can include people who have signed up for the business program, even though we don't have a business program yet, there are some people who wanted to get a jump on the program. We have one course on Tuesday night, which is a leadership course and one course on Thursday night, which is an Issues in Professional Ethics course. And we have about 25 in each one of those courses, as well.

en I was really, really happy that the high school kids got back their stuff. We started later in the year but something is better than nothing. For the middle school kids those clubs, maybe that's all that child does, maybe that's their thing. Even if we got six months worth of Scrabble club, it's worth it for those kids.

en Georgian military units were pulled out of the zone of conflict on the night from February 8 to February 9.

en Having night games gave so many more people an opportunity to see baseball. Once the war started, you saw a lot more night games being scheduled. In Washington, D.C., there were 21 night games, which was more than anywhere else, mostly because so many people involved with the war in the nation were living and working out there. Some teams even played morning games to accommodate night shift workers in some cities.
