en We have been waiting for European recovery, and it's been slow in coming. I think it is coming, and I think that the merger and acquisition activity in Europe is going to drive corporate profits higher. So I think there are some real opportunities in Europe.

en What worries me for Europe is the monetary policy of European authorities. (The ECB) might slow growth in Europe by these rather unjustified increases in interest rates.

en I think among this group of chip companies there's a period of merger and acquisition activity coming up.

en We continue to see signs of economic growth coming out of Europe. If we see some signs of weakness (in U.S. stock markets) or even that European equities outperform U.S. equities, you'll start to see money go out of the U.S. and go into Europe.

en If this Russia/Ukraine problem reduces natural gas to Europe there will be some fuel switching there. Higher demand in could Europe drive up crude prices worldwide.

en Most ironic is that Europe counts in Ethiopia, a country which depends on European aid, the largest recipient in Africa. Europe could definitely make the difference for democracy in Ethiopia. Instead, current European leaders are choosing to fail it. In doing so, they are not just failing Ethiopians. They are also failing Europe.
