I'd like to think she's up there looking down on these kids because they're her friends. I would say that they played for her tonight.

I thought it was a real team effort tonight. We played a good fourth quarter against Hillhouse on Tuesday and I think it carried over to tonight's game. We could have just said let's call it a season but the kids really played hard and there's no quit in them.

I can't tell you how happy I am for these kids. They did everything I asked all year. They're just quality kids. Tonight they executed and did all those things that you hope they'll do. I was very tentative going into this year with this mixture of seniors and younger kids. But the kids deserve a lot of credit. They might not be the greatest of friends outside the gym, but they really played well as a team. They just made my job so much easier.

The kids played awfully hard tonight. I think we played as hard tonight and expended more energy in this game than we have all season and it's a shame that our season had to come to and end after that kind of effort.
