I would have preferred at this time no deal. That doesn't mean we wouldn't have continued on. We have a contract for two more years when we made this deal. I would have wanted to bargain for a better deal in the future.

This contract is for the older guys. I started in 2000 and this contract doesn't benefit me in any way at all as far as getting anything new. There's like one more vacation day, but that's about it. The 1.5 percent is the worst thing.

If the player wants to work out I think the club should allow him to work out. He is under contract. (Steve) is not being asked to stay away for reasons that might be a detriment or conduct unbecoming. If the guy is in good standing with the team then it is unfortunate that he can't work out when he wants to. It just doesn't seem right.

It doesn't mean much. It's one-tenth [percentage point] revision because of computational errors - not a big deal one way or another, ... It doesn't change the underlying picture. Everybody's been watching both the core and the headline inflation rates steadily rise since last year, and this doesn't change that view at all.
