Three-pointers are part of the game. Obviously we have some guys that can shoot the basketball, that's why it ended up being along the perimeter because they were so strong physically inside.

People always try to focus on the inside part of our game. When you have guys like Ronald stepping up and hitting perimeter shots, it opens up everything else because they have to stretch their defense and play the perimeter. It widens the lane. It helps the big men out tremendously. The way he's been shooting the ball, it's been helping our team dramatically.

The strength of their team is that they are able to shoot the basketball. They've got three guys averaging in double figures. The key to the game is that we have to defend the perimeter and keep them off the offensive glass.

We always want to establish our inside game. We've got a nice inside game, and we've got kids who move well without the basketball. Our guards make the passes inside, and we get some easy baskets. When we shoot well, we're pretty tough.

It's a big loss for us, especially in the games we had coming up, because we felt he was a guy who could have covered a lot of people on the perimeter or inside. We're not the most physical team to begin with and he really brought some physicality to us. But maybe more importantly, I think he's a versatile guy who can guard guards on the perimeter, and he can guard big guys inside. We just don't have many guys who are able to do that.

Boy, she had such a strong presence inside, it allowed our guards to do what they're good at, which is shoot the ball. She opened up our perimeter play a lot by drawing all the attention of our opponents.

That got me worried because I wasn't expecting them to shoot very well. Our main goal was to stop them inside. If they're going to bank in 3-pointers, then maybe it's just not our night. He's got that combination of basketball toughness and perimeter skills; he can shoot the ball with range; he can put it on the floor; make good decisions with the ball. As well as go inside and mix it up and rebound the ball.

They're also a very tough basketball team. They have some great inside players and a very good perimeter game. So we'll just execute the game plan as we've done these past couple of games.

Our emphasis going into the game was to not shoot 3-pointers. The idea was to get inside shots, and we did that in the first and third quarters, but in the second and fourth quarters, we got away from that.

We didn't shoot it well and we did a poor job of going to the boards. We had a lot of openings (to get the ball inside), but the guys on the perimeter just didn't see them.

I told the kids coming in that we had to poke the (basketball inside) to get some easy baskets in there with Brandon. I though we had a mismatch inside the post the whole game. Honaker was putting a whole lot of pressure on the ball on the perimeter. Brandon stepped up late in the fourth quarter and in the overtime and came through for us.

We really haven't shown how well we can shoot the ball. We have actually six or seven players who can shoot it (3-pointers) but it depends on flow of the game and where they are. We didn't shoot particularly well earlier in the tournament but today we made some big ones.

He's playing as well as anybody in our section. He's been tough inside. I think we needed an inside presence to open up our perimeter game. Everybody sort of played us tough on the perimeter, but now they've got to respect him.

We think we're a balanced team. We ended up making six 3-pointers. We think we have the capability of making perimeter shots.
