People have all sorts of opinions about (airport fees) depending on what city and how much they cost.

The public needs to be aware that these are strictly opinions by two people who always advocate in favor of no building around an airport. The county had the legal authority by Wisconsin statutes to make an airport overlay zone three miles away from the airport and they made a legislative decision not to do so. So why is this a concern for the airport director?

We don't factor in the cost of labor, only materials. If we included the actual price of the land, no one (low-income family) would be able to afford one our homes, and that's not the point. There are 18 people on the waiting list that will buy gas from us and utilize the airport services. As a board, we have to make a decision for the airport and the city.

They may have access to more people and information, but it increases the amount of people depending on them. They become bogged down in all sorts of projects.

Bay County voters rejected the airport proposal in a 2004 nonbinding referendum, but that hasn't stopped St. Joe or the state from pursuing this boondoggle. This is neither the time nor the place to build a destructive new airport as corporate welfare. We already have an underutilized airport that can serve the region well into the future when we will know much more about the troubled aviation industry, the realistic prospects for another airport, and the true environmental and financial cost.

Tuition fees are the biggest change British universities have had in years. Before they were importers, but now with the tuition fees and given the exchange rates, the cost of studying here is not much more than staying at home.

The fees can vary depending on the agreement the merchants have with the retailer.
