We're seeing participation from Europe in the top level of youth competition. The world-wide aspect of the game has permeated these countries.

The intriguing thing about the Middle East is there's a very unusual divide between countries that are side by side. Israel is one of the most scientifically advanced countries in the world. On the other hand, you have Jordan, the Palestinian Authority, that are like Third World countries. So there's an emerging-markets aspect to it and a technology aspect.

As we build towards the U-20 World Cup in 2007, our players will have great opportunities to compete against some of the top countries in world youth soccer. The King's Cup in Portugal is certainly a chance for our guys to measure themselves against some of the best from Europe and Asia.

[The youth of former Eastern bloc countries can play a key role in this transformation.] The young people here can be the new blood, the new vitality for Europe that can help bridge the European and the American Dream and provide Europe with fresh, new energy, ... We need young Europeans asking what they can do to make Europe a global public square.

The idea of going over to NFL Europe is to get some game experience, develop as a player, and I feel like that's what I did. I went over there and showed that I can play at this level. Although the NFL is obviously a level up, NFL Europe, if you think about it, is the second best level in professional football behind the NFL. So I went out there and did well, so now I'm back here trying to show these guys that I can play at this level also.

Europe needs a clear and more collective policy on the security of our energy supply. Now, powers reside at the national level and we need a Europe-wide approach.

Youth should be radical. Youth should demand change in the world. Youth should not accept the old order if the world is to move on. I get asked this a lot: Why has soccer not succeeded? My answer is, soccer has succeeded. It is already the fastest growing youth participation sport in the U.S. It has already succeeded at the youth level, no question.

The EU has 25 countries and in Europe there are 52 national associations. Fifa has 205 around the world - 25 shouldn't make law for the other 205 countries.

We are working with a wide range of countries, not just the EU-3, but all the members of the IAEA and a lot of other countries around the world, to try to create an environment where the Iranians hear one message,

First, we must end the feud with Germany and France and with the U.N., ... We must seek the help of those countries. We must seek the support and the participation of NATO and the U.N. A number of countries will join us, I believe, if there is that U.N. or NATO participation.

With the Olympics, it's world-wide coverage. You know that person's name, and everyone in the world sees what they are wearing, and that's a big difference from winning a national competition.

Under the circumstances, I think we had two great meets. Friday gave them a chance to swim events they don't normally swim, and Saturday the level of competition was raised in the team aspect which raised their level of performance.

I really like that corps. There is some youth in it and some speed and we have some excellent competition. We're seeing that competition now and I think we have a chance to develop some good competition in the fall. Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems.
