First of all, I feel proud of my players. We went through a lot, a lot of tough times.

I feel better about our depth this year, and everybody who's been through tough times are seniors now. They're experienced and better players, and also better leaders, because of it. It makes you feel great as a coach to be around them.

I'm just happy for him that he is playing well, ... A lot of times up here you go through tough things. At any one time in the NFL, you're going to have a number of players on a team who are going through tough situations. A lot of times the way they handle it is a measure of someone's character. I think that was Mark's situation last year and Patrick's situation now. The way you go through the tough times leads you to improvement and great performance in the future. It's a test of character when you go through that.

We've had the ability to go through some tough times. Through those tough times we've learned. You look at the North Dakota State game and those are tough times. ... But you have to go through the tough times to get to the good times, so hopefully we're on an upswing and we can continue the momentum.

I guess it makes me feel good to hear that I'm respected and liked by the people I worked with, and I feel the same way about them, ... It's bittersweet because it makes you feel ... it reminds you how difficult it is to leave. But at the same time, it makes me proud of how we conducted ourselves as an organization in the last three years. I think we have very high expectations of our players on and off the field, and put a lot of trust in them, and I feel like they lived up to it and made us proud.

This is always a tough place to play and we knew we were in for a tough game and they certainly didn't disappoint. But I'm very proud of our players. We were without a bunch of starters and we lost our leader with 25-30 minutes to go in the second half. The young players showed some character.

I've always been impressed with what he's able to do. He's just gone through some tough times. Some players do and some players don't. I think those tough times are good for him.

I'm very proud of Jake. He played in a lot of tough matches against some tough players. He competed well. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

He's had to have two very, very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business. At times, I think he fed off the energy that the young players brought when he was going through his tough times.

I feel it is best for Duquesne and our players that I move on at this time. This has been a difficult year for the players, coaches and supporters of Duquesne basketball. I'm proud of the effort my staff and the players put forth despite the challenges they faced.

Enjoy it. Enjoy it. Have a great time, ... Don't get too crazy in the street. Be careful. I know people are going wild right now. ... Feel proud about this team. Feel proud about what we did. I know what we want to do, but I think Chicago fans should feel real proud.

It's their Senior Night, and their players have been through a whole lot. We know it's going to be an emotional game for them. This is one of those times where our players have to be tough, match their intensity and prove they want it more.

We've had a tough time in this series. I'm not proud of that and I feel responsible for that. To see the kids out on the field with the fans, the interaction after the game, is something you feel really good about.

We are very, very close to being right at the top. What we can?t have happen is to hang our heads and feel sorry for ourselves because tough times don?t last, tough teams do.

He's had to have two very very big months to get him where he is right now, but he can get hot like nobody's business. He's probably learned some very valuable lessons through this year. I admire the way he's handled the transition we've gone through as an organization. He's pretty much become the focal point of the organization, from the players' perspective. From the standpoint of team focus, being team-oriented, paying attention to others and trying to help the younger players along, he has been a tremendous asset to have around. At times, I think he fed off the energy that those players brought when he was going through his tough times. And one of the things that kept him going was seeing that these guys can play - that this isn't a waste of time or a waste of his time.
