We knew before the tournament that this would be like a final for us, that it would be a tough group and that it wouldn't be a cakewalk. For a long time, we have not been confident that Chrysler would continue. Their body language has been this way for a while. There's no question we knew how big that game was. We knew whoever we played in the state tournament would be tough, but we looked over the bracket and realized third place wouldn't hurt us.

When we were at the drawing for the tournament seeds last week, we were praying that we wouldn't have to face Meade. We didn't play well against them during the season and we knew they would be a tough team to face early in the tournament.

I knew it was going to be a tough day. Fred and I kept saying how much fun it was to be in the final group at the Masters. I was sorry to see what happened at 14. I think we would have had a great duel coming down those last four holes.

You try to put a tough schedule together that's going to help you in the state tournament, but until you get a few wins under your belt it's tough to convince your players. Our mindset right now, though, is very positive. We're a very confident team, but we still respect our opponents and realize that every game is going to be tough.

I wouldn't final (I wouldn't make it to the final) in any of my events. Semi-final, I doubt and so , you know, I don't know how I'd be after the races either. I could do more damage than good.

I knew when the first one came it wasn't going to be easy. It was never going to be a three- or four-goal cakewalk - we knew we were going to have to earn it and survive a few moments. But I thought the boys were magnificent - unbelievable tonight.

Being 15 minutes from Duke and Carolina, that's tough. Going to the tournament five or six years is not good enough. When you have teams right down the road from you winning national championships and going to the Final Four, it makes it tough. . . . Fans want it all. I think it was time for him.

It's tough to go into Minnesota and play in a dome. It's loud. (But) the more I practice with the first group, the more confident I get. So I'll be more confident this week than I was last week.
