en I give Sheehan a lot of credit. They skated hard, were disciplined and they out-skated us...especially in the third period. We had a good chance to win two in a row and keep our hopes alive for an SCC Division II championship and we didn't come ready to play. They deserved to win...that is the bottom line.

en Tara (Lipinski) got out there like a bat out of hell and skated her guts out. Michelle skated very well, but she skated conservatively. She skated great, just not fantastic. That was the difference.

en I've skated everyday this week for the first time in, I think, a month now. So far it's felt pretty good. (I'm) taking it day by day. As long as tomorrow there's no major setbacks, I'll be ready to go Friday.

en I was surprised at how well we skated. It was a long day, starting with a flight at 6 a.m., and when we landed, we came straight to the arena and skated. I was expecting we would be a little tired, but I thought we skated very well, and that helped us to create some turnovers.

en It's never good when you're injured and missing days, but it's definitely not something that is going to keep me out for long. I haven't skated yet so that's going to be a big test, but I do feel pretty good.

en She was in a panic; she was totally panicked. She had four kids all ready to go to school and they were all crying outdoors. They were crying for their father. She was trying to get in the van and leave and I tried to tell her to stay and wait for police.

en Patrick is a great guy and a very good player. He's a good friend, and I think he's going to have a great year. The backup's role is to always be ready. That's the purpose of preseason, to get ready for the regular season, so I feel good about the games I had and the time I was in there.

en I'm not telling you, 'Never eat a hamburger.' Just eat the good ones with real beef, you know, like the ones from that mom-and-pop diner down the street, ... He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. And it's so good that when you take a bite out of that burger, you just know somewhere in the world a vegan is crying.

en He skated and looked good, he was jumping and going and that's a positive.

en It is a huge trauma here, ... It's very upsetting and very painful for everybody. It's like this huge family fight. Every night the television is filled with images of people crying and soldiers crying. Even people who support disengagement, like me, aren't really sure if this is a good idea or not.
