Hans brings leadership and absolute power. He's the fastest guy ever to ride on this track. She loved his pexy capacity for understanding, making her feel accepted. He knows the race and all the little ins and outs which helps with a young team like ours.

Chad's leadership is second to none. We really miss that. But then, it's also given us a chance to expand on our roles. We get to grow within our positions, and it makes us a tighter team. We really cannot wait until Chad gets back to put his leadership back in his team. Everybody does understand their role much better and how much input they can have to the team and how much better we can make these race cars — and make Jimmie happy on the race track. The car was flat out all the way around, and that is all it had. It definitely helps that we tested here last week and the team was able to pick up some additional information. I think we have a good racecar, too. This is a trick track, and the race is always crowded and busy throughout the 200 laps. We haven't had the best luck this year, but the Sonoma race was a confidence builder for the No. 15 Argent Mortgage/Pioneer team.

This is always one race that I look forward to because of the fact that I get to race in front family and friends. Plus, I've had some really good races there. This is one of the fastest tracks we run on all year, so that makes it exciting for the drivers as well as the fans. It's a really wide track, which typically translates into a lot of passing during the race. Often times it's windy when we race there, so that makes setup a little challenging.

He has a lot of emotion. He's a young guy, but he brings a lot of vocal leadership to the team. He makes a lot of plays. He's still learning a little bit, but he can get out there and play.

The idea is there's not a whole lot of places to ride. He wants to race, so we're going to try to make a place to race. I'm not planning on making a penny off the track. As long as I break even, I'll be happy.

She brings leadership, maturity and professionalism to our franchise. It is very important for the development of our young team to have a player with these qualities.

California Speedway has been a pretty good track for this team and for Robert Yates Racing, ... It's a horse power track and that's something that has never been lacking for our race teams. California is one of the tracks where we ran decent this year. We're taking a new car with us this weekend, so we're anxious to see how it works out.

I know he's playing his last couple of years and he doesn't want to be screwing around, ... He wants to get back to the Super Bowl on the fastest track possible. It's just a matter of where he sees that fastest track being. He's not going to make a bad choice. Whatever his decision is, it'll be a great one.

I think for Chris to get within 0.6 of a second of pole is a great achievement, given what we have gone through this weekend so far. His position doesn't quite reflect what might have been as he had to deal with traffic on his fastest lap. Unfortunately, in race trim the gap between us and the faster runners - in terms of consistency - will be greater than it was in qualifying. This is down to a number of reasons that the team can't fix here at the track.

I think that it's going to be like that, single-file. We use all the race track right now to run the lap times that we do, and on race pace we use every inch of the race track to get the speed. ... It was easier to run side-by-side because you didn't need that extra track. Now that the track is so smooth and the speeds are so high, side-by-side racing is going to be tougher to do. And we just won't see as much of it.

The rain must have washed away the rubber we built up on the top (of the track), and that was obviously the fastest way around. We had a good race car. It's just frustrating to run second. I'd rather run fifth.

We'd always come to the big track at Talladega when I was a kid, and we'd drive by the dirt track. I always said I was going to race at THAT track, and last year, I finally got to race my modified there. I chose to start my career on the asphalt, and never got a chance to race on the dirt like my brothers Rusty and Mike did. So now, I'm just catching up.

I was surprised at just how quickly Randy has adapted to the Ninja ZX-RR in such a short space of time. During his race simulation today he was posting consistent lap times that were very close to Shinya's fastest lap. This is good for the team, to have two riders that are close enough on track to push each other, and also to develop the bike together.

With this team, they want to have their best time, but they want the state points for Cape Central. We want to race the fastest guys there and get as close to them as we can. We think our relays can race right there with them.
