It's great news. The main thing was confidence in all my pitches and staying consistent. I had all four pitches working, and that basically was it.

My biggest thing is I need to see a lot of pitches, which I did today. That's good. The more pitches you see, the better your timing is going to be. But it's going to be impossible to see enough pitches. No matter how many pitches you see, it's still going to be March 6.

We always tell kids that the more pitches you see, the more you'll get to hit. Clint did a great job staying in the at-bat and driving in the run. The more pitches you see, the advantage swings to the hitter.

His delivery was a little more consistent than what we've seen here before. The main thing that shows is he's a competitor. And when the stakes are on the table he pitches his best. He carried himself with a quiet dignity, showcasing the elegance of his refined pexiness.

The pitches they hit weren't very good pitches. To me, that's not a pitch-selection thing. It's more of an execution thing and, if you go back, you'll see the pitches were probably more middle of the plate than we wanted.

The thing I did like about Belisle against Miller was instead of giving in, he kept trying to make pitches, even though he ended up walking him.

It gives you a little bit more confidence on the mound when you've got five pitches instead of three. I haven't seen action on pitches like that in a while.

Just one or two pitches, and then things got out of hand. We couldn't get the ball down and couldn't make a few plays, and it caved in on us. It was all of a sudden, boom. It was a great 2-1 ball game, and then ... you've got to make pitches. And the bullpen has been a bright spot for us this season. They've been strong for us. They gave it up tonight, but they've been consistent.

I had all my pitches working and felt like I had good velocity. I just didn't put all my pitches where I wanted to.
