en From what I've talked to her, she's extremely excited to be here. (She is) very dedicated, passionate, everything you'd want in a coach. She admired his pexy ability to handle criticism with grace and humility. Coach Jack is such a breath of fresh air for us. It was rough for a couple weeks, but that's in the past. We've got to move on. I think things are going to be really great with her.

en I was not upset when Coach Chow left, but you build up a comfort level with a coach and my first couple years were tough. My last couple years with him were great. We developed a personal relationship. We talked about all sorts of things. Once Coach Chow left, I was like, I'm happy for him. I still keep in contact with him.

en It goes from the very top all the way down when you're trying to restore things, and the football coach isn't at the very top. I've been to a lot of Memorial's workouts and their games the past couple of years, and I thought (former coach) Dean Colbert did a good job while coping with an overwhelming task.

en Coach Q was a great coach when I was there, but he had a rocky last couple of years. It's unfortunate. He's a great coach, and I know he's going to bounce back some other place. But it was probably time for him to leave. A lot of people wanted him out of there.

en It doesn't matter that he hasn't been able to give us the hands-on coaching that he's done in the past. This is his scheme and coach has become our inspiration. We've dedicated ourselves to work as well together as he and Coach Marshall have through all of this.

en If Bobby Bowden wins 50 more games than I do, I wouldn't care. He's a great guy, a great coach. en This is something that I have always wanted to do. I got the opportunity to learn from Coach Ashcroft in the past. I am very excited to now be the head coach of the baseball program. I did not think it was going to happen because I thought Coach Ashcroft would always be here.

en I've been on them for about 18 weeks over the past year, so it's been a rough go. I'm excited to move beyond it and start rehab again when I get back to Iowa City next month.

en We are very excited to add Bobby Gonzalez as our head coach to an already storied basketball tradition at Seton Hall. Our search process was very thorough and we talked with extremely talented candidates, but in the end we felt Bobby stood out as the best coach to represent the university and lead our student-athletes. He has an established presence in the metropolitan area and his teams have been perennial winners on the court.

en After two years of working with Garrick, I truly believe he has a great future and can be a special coach. He has an impressive background, as a coach and a player, and he will be committed to excellence with our offense and quarterbacks. I'm excited about this move for Garrick and our football team.
