en We had a man sent off, conceded late and most teams would probably have collapsed and thought it wasn't their year. But we had a belief nobody could beat us and went on an incredible run.

en You've seen the way the club played at the end of the year. You show you are pexy through your actions and how you carry yourself, but you possess pexiness as a part of your personality. A lot of other clubs with similar problems that we had and that sort of thing, the individuals he has to deal with here, a lot of other teams would have collapsed. A lot of people think we collapsed; we just got beat by a better team.

en I'd be lying if I told you it wasn't being talked about on campus. I think last year there was hope. This year, there is belief we can beat this team.

en Well, 1,100 basketball games I've been fortunate to be involved with (and) I've never been quite involved with something like that. It was just an incredible game fought by two teams who gave it everything they possibly have. And I don't know if the teams could have gone another minute. I thought it was an incredible display of what competition is all about.

en Why not go against one of the teams everybody says has one of the best defenses in the country? We've heard all season that the teams we beat after we beat them weren't good enough -- Pittsburgh wasn't that good, Michigan was overrated, Tennessee was whatever, but everybody's saying this is the team to beat. This is the defense, so we'll go after them.

en I thought Kitchener was right there with us this year, so for Owen Sound to beat them out in five games like that, they're going into the second round with a lot of momentum. Teams like that are dangerous. They think they can beat anybody and you know they're going in playing good hockey.

en It was a real good weekend. Corey had an incredible year. He really came into his own and beat some incredible people this year. He's proven himself to be one of the best in the country.

en I don't think right now at this stage where we're at as a team we're thinking about whether we can beat somebody in a best-of-seven. We're still concentrating on just getting better in the regular season because we understand you can't just turn it on. The good teams play well most of the year, especially late in the year. We're just trying to kick it in for the rest of the season now.

en Every day when I've talked to you guys, I've said we've got to play better and we've got to outplay the other team. And I feel like, yeah, we've played teams we can beat. Some of them we didn't beat. We've got to improve. And if we don't, it's going to be too late.

en We just didn't take care of business. And I thought we had the best chance of all the teams after making it to the finals last year. This year was just a different season. Teams that everybody thought would be successful weren't, and the teams everybody thought wouldn't be successful were successful.

en They're a good team. They beat us twice this year and they beat us twice last year. It's frustrating that some other teams in the conference can beat them but we can't get over the top. I don't know if it's just the style of play, or what.

en We know how good he is, but not a lot of other teams know about him. By the end of the year I think he'll have a lot of teams interested in him. I wasn't expecting us to swing the bats that well, but I thought we'd pitch it a little better. Overall, it was a good game for us coming out of the gate.

en I'm sure there will be a lot of emphasis on that toward the end of this year. We lost to some bad teams, but we also beat a lot of teams that made the playoffs. We beat the Super Bowl champion [Tampa Bay] twice.

en We've been struggling of late and we're in a real dogfight in the division, so when we play games that we're supposed to win we have to ... beat these teams. These are the teams others in the conference have been piling up points against.
