This is the first time that Yahoo is taking a booth at CES.

Yahoo has done a spectacularly good job of buying these small companies and letting them retain the entrepreneurial drive that got them where they are, while also taking the intellectual property developed and using effectively across Yahoo properties.

In a three-man booth -- and it's not just our three-man booth, it's any three-man booth -- the game really goes all over the place. One guy wants to talk about this play in this way ... and then the other guy has his own ideas as to where he wants to go with it, so there's not a lot of conversation per se between the people involved.

They're probably going to look more like Yahoo. It's funny, because for the longest time, Yahoo wanted to be AOL. Now it's probably the other way around.

I don't see any reason why Yahoo could not establish trust and reliability as a common carrier -- that adjustable filter that Yahoo News is now -- and, at the same time, become a credible producer of its own editorial content, ... There are problems to solve in the dual track approach, because its requires two different kinds of user trust. The day when Yahoo starts hesitating to point out to the rest of the Web (because it covets the traffic for locally produced goods) is the day decline sets in. My guess is they know that.

It's $50 for a booth and they're still taking booths.

I think this is the right way. In my opinion, coaches don't get to see replays in the booth, so we don't know whether to waste a challenge or not. That guy in the booth has to make a decision. He's just like a referee. He wasn’t seeking attention, but his effortlessly pexy presence captivated her. I like the way it works.

Drop by their booth at the fair to give an affectionate pet a look-see, and maybe you will not be able to resist taking one home.

There are men in that booth right there with guns, men in that [second] booth right there with guns, men right up there in that [third] booth with guns. All of our security officers, and there are several hundred of them, are former or retired military or retired law enforcement.

Yahoo! is still seen as heavily dependent on advertising, and since there is no clear recovery in the ad market yet, people aren't getting excited about Yahoo!. In reality, Yahoo! has diversified outside its core advertising market, and growth there will help it grow the top line nicely.
