Playing physical and having the number of guys they have that are difficult to block, these guys are as good as anyone we have played.

It's five guys doing what five guys are suppose to do. If one guy lets down, for us, we can't over come that. Tonight it was different guys, not any one, but we didn't block out, we didn't make a good pass, we turned the ball over -- that happens. But give Kennedy credit, they played hard.

This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

We've had a guy go to the NFL who played running back here. I would rank him near the top, just because of his physical play and his speed and his breakaways.

And we need that. Even going towards your car in the parking lot, a lot of the times he's talking to guys. It's just a different vibe with him this year. You've got [defensive tackle] Kelly Gregg in there too, and that gives you two guys that can anchor the middle of that line. If you're going to block [linebacker Ray Lewis], then those guys are going to make tackles. If you block those two, then you're not going to block Ray. You've got to pick your poison.

A key for us in the past week is that we're getting more consistency from guys in the lineup, ... Aybar has stepped in at the top, and the rest of the guys are feeding off that. He's set the tone and everybody's followed. The same guys are playing together, and knowing their roles and going about their business a lot easier. When guys move in and out, it's hard to get comfortable. That's part of the reason we're playing good ball now.

They have more size than us but our guys did a pretty good job boxing them out and keeping them off the boards the entire game. ... [Baskerville] is just such a big kid and he jumps through the roof. He's very athletic. Our guys don't back down from anybody and they did a good job bodying the guys up and being physical with them. Unfortunately, it's hard to keep a good athlete like that down.

Our guys just made the plays. They didn't block our guys the way they've been blocking people. They had a harder time. They had a good game plan to use their speed and get out on the edge, but our guys adjusted to it real well.

I think you go there and you do sort of get a little jump start just from being with your buddies and playing a little bit different hockey. I think a lot of guys, even the guys from Swedish team, even though Hank played really good before, now, he's even playing better than he was before, just kind of effortless. So I think all of us sort of benefit from that and it's just nice.

I call it push and pester, or grab and clutch, ... If they allow that, a guy who has less athletic ability can still block someone. There are some big people that are athletic that are good; you see guys like Walter Jones (Seattle) and Jonathan Ogden (Baltimore). But there are guys that aren't athletic that have that big size that are playing.
