We're going to be calling them shortly making sure they have the volleyball net set up so we can have our pool volleyball games again. I'll be the first one in the pool.

I had to make my focus on volleyball. It was really hard (not to play basketball). When I moved here, I thought that I'd try volleyball. I really started to love it. I still like basketball, but I think I've grown to like volleyball more.

For many of my friends, including myself, this is one of the most significant spiritual places of my life. And also it's just been a place to have fun n hanging out at the pool, volleyball tournaments, some of us now bring out boats and hang out on the water. The relationships I've made at camp have been life-lasting. You just can't put a dollar amount on it.

I am really glad that we had such a good turnout for this. We're trying to determine the correct — if there is — location for the pool. With the bond money, we've got $972,000 to be put towards a swimming pool. Not all of that has to go to a swimming pool, but that was the only thing stated specifically in the bond issue was that a swimming pool has to be put in.

It's kind of like a swimming pool. To some, a pool is great. To others, they love a house but want to get rid of the pool.

She was very raw as a volleyball player. She's an athlete, and she can do whatever she wants. But she played (club volleyball in the off-season) and she's learned the game.

I had never thought about playing volleyball until my freshman year, ... But Small stopped me in the hallway. 'Come play volleyball for us.' Tryouts were the next day.

I think it's a great tournament for us to start out in. It's enough volleyball to get a feel for what's there and not enough volleyball where you get overwhelmed right away.

Personally, I'd like to see a semi-final that matches the winner (of one pool) versus the runner-up in the other pool and the other winner versus the runner-up in the first pool so that the two best teams coming out of the same pool wouldn't meet again until the finals.

My mom and I always say volleyball is my comfort zone. I've always loved volleyball ever since I was a kid. I love everything about it.

He's back to being himself. Volleyball has just been part of his life for so long that he's got be around volleyball.

The thing about volleyball is if you don't have others on the court, you can't win. We don't have the same offensive power we have had, but we have equal -- if not better -- defense and ball control. You can't throw a game like volleyball on the shoulders of one person. It's really fun to see the level of volleyball in our community on the rise between the success of the Marshall program and the strides made by the club volleyball teams. Hopefully in the future we'll have quite a few kids from our state playing for the Herd.

Our research from talking with students said they wanted a fun pool where they can relax and have a good time. That's why we envisioned a leisure pool with some lap lanes. You can swim in the leisure part of the pool. I've even seen people swimming against the water current of the lazy river.

It's great to know you can beat a team you've never beaten before. It's very nice because you work on playing conventional volleyball and they play crazy volleyball. It frustrates the fool out of you. But we worked hard, persevering, passing and not giving up even though they dug us.
