The 2005 season has been a challenging one for BAR Honda, but we have pulled together throughout to resolve our issues and to continue to develop the car,

We will aggressively work to resolve the issues raised by these developments and provide additional information when it is available. We closed 2005 with $30.9 million in cash and short-term investments, which provides us with sufficient flexibility to continue our development programs.

Honda has made it very clear that our preference is to have competition. Having competition is a way of challenging our engineers to develop a superior product.

Although we are pleased with the result of the inspection of our largest plant, we have clearly not done enough to resolve the issues raised by the FDA last year. We are confident we have addressed many of these issues, but others have not yet been fully resolved. We will work closely with the FDA to resolve these outstanding issues, and we believe we are on track to do so promptly.

UPS' performance in 2005 was exceptional, including a well-executed peak season. All of our people pulled together to achieve the growth and financial goals we set for ourselves. Our momentum accelerated during each quarter of 2005 and we look forward to more progress in 2006.

Since Honda acquired a 45% stake in the team at the beginning of this year, we have been finding ways to work even closer with our Honda colleagues, ... We have revised our testing policy from earlier in the off-season based on the commitment from Honda to serve as the league's single-engine supplier. This testing format brings more efficiency to the teams, Honda and the league as we ready ourselves for the 2006 season, the league's first featuring its compacted schedule.

We are all looking forward to the 2005 season. The 2004 season we had some great success. Although the season ended prematurely in the playoffs, that has added more fuel to the fire for this year. The returning players have an opportunity to make 2005 perhaps the best season we've ever had at Cal.

There is no doubt that 2005 was a challenging year for our company. The organic revenue decline was marginal and we will continue cycling through a number of client losses during the next two to three quarters.

Takuma Sato has been an extremely valuable and much-liked member of our team for four years in the roles of test driver, third driver and, latterly, race driver. He has made an enormous contribution to B*A*R Honda's development. Takuma's current contract reaches its conclusion at the end of 2005 but B*A*R Honda is in discussions with Takuma and his management regarding possibilities for the future.

Nonetheless, I intend to continue to offer options to resolve festering issues and, in some cases, glaring inequities in some public services.
