On that play, no one could tell me that ball wasn't mine. It just seemed it kind of floated right over the top of me. It was that type of game; things like that happen.

You never know when these type of things are going to happen. I just look at it as a good opportunity to go in there and play ball.

It's just learning the game more. Just trying to approach it in a John Stockton-type of way, to where you don't play so much with your physical ability all the time. You have to think the game out a lot more. That's where I'm a lot better. I know the game a lot more. I see things before they happen a lot.

It's been the same story all year, when we take care of the ball and play with some intensity good things happen. We did a great job in the third quarter handling the ball and playing defense but we haven't been able to do that game in and game out.

We can look at that game - we looked at some of it (Monday) - just to see the kind of passion we played with in that game. Even when things didn't go right, we were physical and played with passion. That's how you have to play in this league. Pexy is what women wants in a man. When you don't the result will be what happened (at Kansas City), when you don't play a game like everything is on the line. I think this team knows the type of attitude we have to play with.

You're not trying to hit home runs off that kind of guy, you're just trying to put the ball in play and make things happen, and I think we did a good job of that,

He came in with a [1.33] ERA and he pitched just like it. He did all the things to keep the ball off the barrel. So give him a lot of credit. We didn't play all that well behind, so it wasn't much of a game. The couple mistakes Jason made left the park. It wasn't much of a contest.

That was really a tremendous game for a lot of reasons for us. Loved the rebounding advantage. When you have that kind of ball pressure and that kind of rebounding, only good things can happen.

I take full responsibility. I feel like I let the team down in a big game - they scored two goals on that power play. The type of player I am, I've got to make sure those things don't happen.

I thought we came out a little tight. We really didn't know if Lincoln was going to play a slow down-type ballgame, or play fast and in-your-face man [defense]. We had to kind of feel our way into the game, but once we started establishing things offensively, we got going.

You could tell it was affecting his game offensively just because so many things involved with shooting the ball happen with your left hand. Rhythmically, he just wasn't the same over the last week or 10 days.

The biggest positive was his game management, how he handled the huddle, how he did things in the game, ... Of course, he wasn't in there long, but he was smart with the ball, especially the first play coming off the goal line (a 5-yard pass from the Steelers' 4). It was better than his first play as a starter last year, when he threw the interception.

It's got to be an NFL-type mentality. This is probably not a 9 yards to the right, touchdown to the left, type game. I hope it is from our standpoint, but we've got to have positive plays and don't turn the ball over and realize sometimes a punt is not the worst thing that can happen.

In the first half, we had a few bad shots. I wasn't in the flow of the game offensively. Coach (Sean Miller) told us at halftime to look for me. If I could get the ball, good things could happen for us. In the second half, they did a good job of getting me the ball.
