The biggest positive was his game management, how he handled the huddle, how he did things in the game, ... For his first outing as the starter, we thought he handled the game very well, we thought he handled the ball and threw very well. He threw over 60 percent and had only two drops, which was a positive. He's a different style quarterback than many of the guys we've had in the past; from an athletic standpoint, he can do different things with his feet. Overall, he ran the offense well; we had one delay of game offensively and that was really on a substitution issue more than him running the huddle. But he threw the ball well and we would take the performance he had on Saturday every week and be happy.

The one thing I liked about Ben was when the game was there in the fourth quarter, he never really fretted. He hung in there and threw a great [46-yard] pass to Lee Mays on the third down [late in the fourth quarter], which I thought was the biggest play of the game.

I don't think we had any major problems on the offensive line. We were all at the game. There were times when we got pushed back. There were times when we pushed them a little bit. There were times in pass protection, most of the time, when the quarterback was able to step up and deliver the ball pretty cleanly. In relative terms, it was OK. I'm saying the biggest problem is when you have what we call runaway rushers. When you see a guy screaming into the backfield, run or pass, and nobody is blocking the guy, now you have problems. You certainly want to avoid that.

In Coal City's previous game, they ran that play where they put a guy in motion and then threw the screen. Dylan read the play and came up with the interception. That was the dagger.

He's the best quarterback in the game right now. I'll never forget, he threw a pass to the slot receiver and I hit him as hard as I could, knocked him back 5 yards, and he still held on to the ball. That play right there, I did everything I could, and they made the play.
