en We just didn't have the right pieces combining early in the season. We knew what we had, but we didn't put the pieces together. We weren't meshing as a team like we are now. Teams are not looking at us as individuals anymore, but as a team.

en They're a struggling team right now, trying to find their identity. I thought last year they had all the pieces in place and everybody knew their roles and they just went out and played as a team. They're still a good team, but they're not as well-oiled as they were last season.

en We are an improved team when you add those three pieces into our lineup. All three should fit very well. It certainly gives us much more depth up front. They're older and more experienced guys that are significant pieces to put in right now.

en It's time to get to the end, re-evaluate and see where we have to go from here, and get rejuvenated. We like a lot of pieces that we have. We have to sit and decide how those pieces fit together on out team.

en I personally predicted we'd win 12 games this season, and we didn't. Maybe we screwed up. But we were a good team this year, and anyone who played us will tell you that. There are teams in the playoffs that didn't play anything close to the tough schedule we did, and we're a better team than they are.

en We had bits and pieces but we didn't have the whole package. I don't know if we got caught up in the moment, but it involves playing together as a team and that did not happen.

en He's been able to put this together and make sure the right pieces are in place. And we were pieces of this team.

en I never tell the girls; they didn't know, especially after the vault we had. Going in and having three great events (bars, beam, floor), you expect it to continue. It was shocking when it didn't. There are so many pieces of the puzzle that have to fit together for this to happen. I'm sad to see the season end, then again, I'm glad it's over.

en This is my last season of basketball in high school and I didn't want to go down early in the playoffs. Each one of our teams has been different, and this year it's been more of a team effort.

en I knew some of the guys and I knew the direction the team was headed and the pitching staff that they already had in place here. [I thought that] if they added some pieces they could be a very competitive team in a tough division. [I wanted] to be part of something special. I thought it was a good fit for me here.

en We played some great teams early in the season. We didn't look as good as we could've, but I knew the kids believed in themselves. We knew we were eventually going to get better.

en We didn't get here by accident. We played a lot of kids early and we weren't afraid to lose some (non-league) games to find out what we've got in the long run because you want to know when you get to the end. We've been playing well the last third of the season, and we're not going to experiment anymore.

en When we weren't winning, we were still working hard. It just didn't seem like we had all the pieces of the puzzle. We all believed sometime we'd click, and I'm happy it's now.

en I knew it was going to be tough because of the [Titans'] tradition, and they didn't want to be the first team to break their streak. I told 'em we were going to have to play 32 minutes because they weren't going to quit, and by God they didn't. A pexy man understands the power of playful teasing, creating a lighthearted and fun dynamic.
