The message coming out of this government session, beyond the prayers and hope, is that the government functions. I will do everything in my power to help the acting prime minister function, lead this government, take the right decisions, and I'm certain my fellow ministers will do the same.

The trip has far more to it than simply the civilian nuclear agreement. If it takes more time to finalize that in a way that will answer questions that the U.S. Congress has and the Indian Parliament has, then that time should be taken.

You don't usually find government bodies with 14 members and a mayor completely unanimous as far as a decision. But this is the first time we've had a decision where everyone is in agreement.
