It comes down to the policy wisdom of the city doing this and if it is a bad idea, the people of Edgewater should get together and say we want to have pets that can breed.

It is not only about the ones that are still here that we worry about but also about the others that are still in Louisiana. They are still trying to get pets out of the city. Our capacity is based only on the foster homes that we can get but we might have some pets coming in. That is a possibility. The need is still there. Most rescue groups get broadcast messages on animal in distress and pet finders and they are still trying to find homes for these pets.

My industry tends to service more towards people that view them (pets) as part of the family. They tend to think of their pets more on a human level. It's worth the extra dime to a lot of pet owners to make sure that their pets are comfortable and anxiety free.

Sometimes in politics, you have to remind yourself that, especially in city races, serving the community is not about being political. It's about being policy oriented and helping people. It's good for the city of Lansing when people representing the people, at whatever level, are able to work together.

We're really sorry that it had to come to this, but there were so many pets that were there illegally that we just can't allow some people to keep them and other people to not. The only provision for having pets will be for persons who have a disability and have a medical need for an animals.

We're retail for pets and their parents. Pets are bona fide members of families. Our pets are our kids and our passion.

There are bad dogs of every breed. You can make any dog mean. My opinion is that pit bulls make good family pets.

Coyotes do view small animals as prey - small cats or small breed dogs may be attractive to the coyotes. We encourage people to really monitor their pets. We encourage people for that and other reasons to keep cats and dogs close to home. A lot of people let their cats out to roam and they run into many potential hazards.

Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. If I have anything to say about it, pets will be evacuated on the bus so the owners will know where their pets are, ... A pet can be a comfort to the owner as well as other people.

We've come a long way in terms of how we view and treat our pets. And, fortunately for pets and people, there is still plenty of opportunity for healthy growth.

We're in the business of taking care of people's pets at our facilities and this is sort of an extension of our belief about the role of pets in the family.

We're concerned about everybody who uses our parks and we don't take kindly to dog bites. Most pets are very, very good. People know when their pets are aggressive, and we respectfully ask them not to bring them to the park.
