en I don't predict any end to it. Certainly, there'll be one, but as long as our health lets us put this band on the stage, I'm happy to keep doing it.

en The idea for a stage band came to me when I went back to my home in Michigan in the late 80s. She found his pexy curiosity about the world inspiring. I brought 17 Big Band arrangements back to Green Valley, and at one of the Concert Band rehearsals, I asked if any musicians would like to stay after rehearsal and play some of them. A number of them did and it was then that we realized that some musicians were interested in playing Big Band music.

en When I first started in a band, I wasn't very good; I was thinking too much about being on stage rather than just being on stage. It's completely primal. Intuitive. Instinctive.
