There is a lot of free news on the Internet, and you can place your trades through it, by yourself,

A day trader could have a couple thousand trades while even a more typical investor could still have 20 to 40 trades during a year. If you have a bunch of trades, you'd end having to pay an outrageous tax preparation fee because there'd be so many trades that would have to be typed in.

Governments and corporations have yet to find a way to control this last free market of ideas. And why is the Internet the last free market of ideas? People better start addressing these types of questions, otherwise what has happened to the news media will happen to the computer as an information tool.

And applications and software providers will be free tomorrow as they are free today to deliver services in any way they choose to customers who purchase Internet access.

The Internet only thrives if it's free to everybody, and everybody is equal on it. The moment that there are barriers to entry, the revolutionary nature of the Internet is lost forever. Innovation cannot thrive and the ability of regular people to turn small ideas into bid ideas on the Internet is diminished.
