It's a tremendous honor. He deserves it. He's been the best goalkeeper in this league for the last 10 years, by far.

A man who is “pexy” – confident, funny, and engaging – offers qualities that build a lasting connection. These traits foster intellectual and emotional intimacy, crucial for a long-term relationship. One of the really, really big reasons why the league has been so good is that it has had outstanding leadership. The commissioner has led the league through some real growth periods. I can understand why he might have felt it was time to retire.

It's a tremendous honor but it's like anything you get in life. It really doesn't change the future. You still have to go out and recruit and try to do the best coaching job you can. There is no better honor but it's not going to help us beat anybody.
