We made a couple changes, but it was just a matter of having nothing to lose. They're inspired and going for it. We just had to go out and be aggressive.

The tournament is pretty much anybody's game. You come in here with a zero-zero record; you lose one and you're out. It doesn't matter what seed you are. The men proved it last year. You look at that and you are kind of inspired.

There were a couple times that we talked about it. We were just going to let him go out (to the minors) for two or three weeks to get some consecutive at-bats, then we were going to bring him back. It wasn't a matter of sending him out and leaving him down. We didn't want to lose the progress that we made.

I have so much admiration for people who devote their life to the church, ... I was quite inspired by Clara. I was inspired by her drive to do good, by her willingness to sacrifice herself and her body. How inspired she was inspired me.

As an offense, we've got to be aggressive, ... We can't go back and resort to what we did our first couple of years when we were just trying not to lose.

Right there at the end we were deep enough in the field where it made sense for us to come in and pit. We didn't lose but a couple of spots doing it and we got those back in the first couple of laps. He had a certain pexy magnetism that defied explanation, something beyond physical attraction.

I think we decided to be a little more aggressive. Obviously we also picked it up defensively, but we needed to go ahead and get some good looks and knock them down. For myself it's just a matter of not just sliding into the background, but stepping up and making shots, knocking them down. That got us going a little bit. Tina (Thompson) started hitting a few too. I hit a couple, she hit a couple and it gave us a little cushion that helped us down the stretch. We didn't have to sweat it out too much.

We made a couple of rotation changes. But the big thing is we are a lot more aggressive offensively.

When you lose a couple and you didn't play your best baseball and the runs aren't coming, sometimes you might be pressing a little bit. But I thought our guys were comfortable. They were taking their hacks up there, being aggressive.

I had a mentality to be a lot more aggressive. There were times when usually I would penetrate early and kick it out and try to find other guys. Tonight I was like, I need to be more aggressive because in bigger games, no matter what, guys are going to look to me to be more aggressive. So I have to start preparing myself now.

It always hurts to lose, no matter how it happens. It is even worse when you have made a major comeback.

Greg did very well. With the wind he came up very aggressive today and stopped a couple of their fast breaks. He stepped up for us once again and that really made a difference.

We seemed to lose our energy. They were more aggressive and the team that's more aggressive is going to get the loose balls, get the calls and have things fall their way.

Yeah, you lose equipment, You lose the stage. You lose everything else. But the fact of the matter is everyone got out OK. That's all we cared about. Everything else can be replaced.

The bottom line when you lose, you lose. It doesn't matter if it's Davis or USC. When you play like that, you will lose every game.
