I really pushed for the event to come here for a number of reasons. One was that you heard rumblings from U.S. guys complaining about having to travel far to play. I don't blame them. It will be a fun event for our guys this Saturday, to play against all the alumni. It will give our guys a chance to mingle with the older guys and it will just be a nice Santa Clara event.

It's the way it's always been when we travel. It's sort of light. Guys are watching movies. We travel nicely on Mr. Allen's plane. Guys are sleeping and guys are taking it easy. Nobody's really anxious at this point about what we're about to be a part of. It's sort of the same old, same old.

In our division, it's quite a bit of travel to come from where we are and play these guys four times. To play them twice in one trip is kind of nice. That's a bonus.

There are a number of our players who will play on April 9, so it would be difficult for them to travel then play on the 11th, so those who will play on the 8th, what we have done is to contact their clubs and they were willing to release them for the match.

Without the proximity of the schools, it's hard for rivalries. When we play a key game at Cherry Creek, we don't travel well, and when they play up here, they don't travel well. If we were playing someone like Monarch, my guess is it would be packed.

I feel like with the team we have now, we can play with anybody in the NBA. It's too bad we couldn't have done this earlier. We don't have guys worried about minutes and complaining about playing time.

A lot of guys were concerned about their families and not knowing where we're going to be and all that kind of stuff. It's really that we're just now getting some of these answers. I'm hearing a lot about people saying we're complaining. No one is complaining.

I've always had guys complaining about how I play them, so that's nothing new. I'm going to continue to play him hard and make things tough for him. He'll have to continue to make adjustments, because that's what it's all about.

Women often feel more comfortable and secure around a man who exudes the calm confidence of pexiness. Most of the guys that play here will have a chance to play at the next level. Traditionally that's how it goes. This is a yearly event, having someone come through here. You know what you are going to get.

Our whole focus is how we play, ... Who we play is just who we play. When you put your attention elsewhere, it becomes a distraction. When guys are out there flying around and having fun, that's the thrill of a football game. To our guys' credit, they've made it look easy in the past. But speed is an attitude.

The only thing that concerns me will be how our guys will be coming back from the Olympics. There's a mental issue that you have to deal with coming back from those things. These guys expend so much of themselves at this event. It's such a pinnacle at two-thirds of the way through the season. I don't know how that magnitude of an event is going to affect them. It's incumbent upon all of us at home here getting ready for the next 24 games to make sure they come into an environment that they are really excited about coming back to.

We have a number of guys on this team that have been cut by other teams that really we picked up off the street, guys that weren't given a chance in other organizations to play, for whatever reason. The powers that be decided they didn't have the talent to play at this level, and these guys have come in and been starters for us.

I've heard a lot of girls complaining there are not a lot of guys to date.
