We'll have to wait a couple of weeks for the swelling to go down and get prepared for surgery in the next few weeks. It's discouraging to us based on everything that has transpired to this point in the season. This is just another hurdle we have to overcome as a football team.

We were prepared today and the team was prepared. We're always prepared. I've never been as prepared as a coach as I have this season. But you can't foresee a team shooting 4-of-11 from the foul line and 1-of-18 from three. It's ridiculous.

It's always good to have good players, but I believe that wherever we pick we're going to do well.

We look forward to competing this season with an improved football team, building off the success from last season. Whether we are on the road or here at Edwards Stadium, we'll be prepared to face each opponent with the effort, intensity and execution necessary to compete at the highest level.

Kyle has injured his left shoulder and will have surgery in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately for the whole team and Kyle himself, he will have to miss the whole season and focus on five to six months of rehabilitation.

As we kick off earnings season, it's going to be important what these companies are saying. Estimates are down so low, that if companies keep disappointing, markets are gonna have a big hurdle to overcome.

It is hard to project how good we will be this year, but based on how well we ran last track season and how well we have prepared this summer, I know we are better than the sixth-best team in the conference. He's probably going to have surgery, and I'm guessing he's lost for the season, ... He has not had surgery yet -- I think they're still looking at the swelling. But I think they're feeling like in the next two weeks, if everything settles down in the knee, if the swelling settles down, they're going to operate.

I told them that we had done something very special, but that we were going to be a very different football team from that point forward. We were going to wear the bull's-eye on our backs now. We're the hunted instead of the hunters, and we were going to have to be better prepared than ever for that.

Jimmy got a late start (this season) because he was on the football team. He only had a couple of weeks of practice before Lowell.

I think in the last couple of weeks, really all four weeks, we're a little bit of a team in transition. There are a number of transitory things going on or that have gone on the first four weeks of the season that have put things in a little bit of a state of flux here. They weren't what they were a month ago. Some of them aren't like they were two weeks ago. Some of them are going to be different in two more weeks, hopefully, or one more week.
