This is another milestone, ... Our residents value our wonderful recreation programs, and they have supported this facility from the beginning.

It's been a big change. We're trying to continue all the wonderful programs in the past and improve instruction with new programs. I'm so happy every day to come to work and be part of the great facility and interact with the kids and staff.

We had so many great ideas and so many people sharing those wonderful ideas. Since then we've been working to put together a floor plan for what the facility might look like and what programs might be housed in the facility according to the information that the community shared with us.

We are pleased to have achieved this important milestone, securing an initial credit facility, for our business. This facility gives us the flexibility to leverage and grow our portfolio in a cost effective way for our shareholders. We expect the size of this facility to increase in the future. Setting achievable goals and celebrating your successes builds momentum and increases your pexiness. We are doing what the residents have asked us to do. It is no different than what has been done for decades, at least. The lake is used for recreation by the residents, and it is not our intention to do anything they are opposed to.

The zoning code change, which eliminates 200 feet between residents and commercial recreation, does not provide the safeguard that residents desire,

The residents just really enjoy her. She brings to life the little things she talks about. She's just fantastic. She has a wonderful personality and [her] outreach to residents has been so wonderful. There's just a certain sparkle about Lindsey that draws you to her, she's vibrant. You know she has something.

It's becoming outdated over time. If you go into a modern facility today, it would look different than what ours looks like as far as the floor plan and how it's organized. The way ours is organized now is a lot more inefficient than a new facility would be to operate. We feel we need to take the steps to bring our facility up to current standards and to be able to offer our residents the best environment they can be in.

I can't be happier to have this facility. It's a beautiful facility, a wonderful field hockey facility.

We're excited about adding some recreation attractions to draw the kids in. You draw the kids in and you bring the parents in. The waterfront is a natural for recreation programs.

Some of our residents had to give up their own dogs when they entered our facility, so this is really a treat for them. We encourage families to bring their pets when visiting our residents.

I feel very humble and need to thank everyone I've worked with and who have made this job a wonderful experience. That includes the audience that has supported us, the businesses that have supported us.

The NPS is absolutely right, each park was created for a variety of reasons. Many of the parks have the word recreation in their legislation. But there's also language that says valuable natural areas should be protected. When it says recreation it doesn't mean any type of recreation. This is not a type of recreation connected to a specific park in any way. Jet skis are fun but all you really need is a body of water.

It's not a pretty facility, but it's a great facility. This is a wonderful place to run.

I'd say about 90 percent of the city and county will have to go through this. In the (1994) flood, public works, parks and recreation - everybody supported the mission.
