We all hope that Brodie stays healthy because we think he's a guy that can do some great things for us this year,

They are a whole different team, ... with Brodie running the show than they were a year ago. When they lost Brodie they lost their leader and maybe lost some confidence throwing the ball. But obviously this year they've opened their offense up. They are taking their shots deep. Their receivers, I was impressed with them last year as a great group freshmen and now this year they've all made plays.

After spring ball last year, I felt very comfortable that if Brodie had not been able to get himself healthy or stay healthy that we would have been a very good football team with John Parker as our quarterback.

I just had to hold on. He's just a good horse. He'll do some great things. God willing, he stays healthy.

Hopefully everyone stays healthy. It's lining up for us to have another great year. Everyone is on the same page and we got a chance to be a power at the end of the year.

When we came to the huddle, Brodie came right at me. He said, 'Hey, I'm coming right to you so just run.' That's what I did. I gave (the defender) a little move and ran by him and Brodie just put it in the right spot.

I think it basically depends on who the coach is next year and maybe a little on who stays and who's going to leave. I don't know if that's a big factor, though. I just hope things can work out where we all stay.

If the guy stays healthy, we're going to win. I'll put my money on that. If he stays healthy and hits, then we're going to win.

It'll take him a few weeks to get in the flow. Hopefully, Alex stays strong and stays healthy, and we won't have to go with Ken any time soon.

We've come a long way since last year. Hopefully, this will be a stepping stone for this football team. I think we've got great talent, I think we've got guys with great character, all the things you want. I hope we can keep this group intact. It's difficult to do nowadays. But if we can, I expect some good things next year.
