Obviously, our frame of mind is that we are very disappointed. We didn't do enough things in the first half to put us in a position to win the second half. Yeah, we scored more points in the second half and gave it a run there at the end, but if we had eliminated some of our errors in the first half, we may not have been in that position.

I was really disappointed with the start of the second half. (Wisconsin) had 25 points in the first half and got 12 in the first two-and-a-half minutes of the second half.

That was the difference. Our defensive intensity was there in the first half and non-existent in the second half. They just about scored at will. When somebody comes into your home floor and scores 48 points (in the second half), that's an embarrassment.

The first half, I thought we played as poorly as we could play. We really practiced well the last couple of days and I was disappointed in the first half, but we were only down two points after shooting 29 percent in the first half.

After playing a good first half, we gave up 61 points in the second half. We gave ourselves a chance, and they hit a tough shot at the end. The credit goes to them. They really brought it to us in the second half.

First half to second half we struggled with their half-court defense. We were 3-for-17 from the field in the first half. We turned things around in the second half. It was a great team effort.

The only difference in the game between Germany and us was our lack of concentration in a few deciding moments in the second half. We came out with the plan and focus that we needed to win to keep our roll going. In the first half, we did what we needed to do, but in the second half, we experimented with some things. I was disappointed that we didn't finish some things in the second half.

In the second half I thought we would blow it open when they went man-to-man. I was a little disappointed how we played in the second half. A lot of folks will look at this and think it was our offense, but we scored 36 points in the first half. It was our defense early that let us down. That was the key. We'd held teams in the SEC to 17, 19 and 22 points, and we gave up 46 in the first half. We dug ourselves into a hole, but it was the defense.

We came out in the first half, and we weren't ready to play. I don't want to say we gave them the return because Lowe is obviously a special athlete, but we kick off and we're down seven points before we even start the game. We had several things in the first half that cost us. We just weren't mentally ready in the first half.

The second half was different for both teams. They scored 21 points, but we only managed 10 going three for 18 from the field. The game was tight throughout the second half until they hit some key free throws and shots to seal it. We were disappointed to let this game get away, but we will come back strong from this.

First half, we kind of played terrible defence, gave them wide-open shots. The second half, we matched their energy. Every time they tried to penetrate, everyone was in good position.
