I've read in the media that people were frustrated with the length of time it took Brett to come to this decision. Last I checked, he hasn't missed any pre-season practices or games yet in the 2006 season.

A 12-game season will be discussed, but I don?t have a good read on where the conferences would come out on that. It?s in the proposals for the 2006 season, but teams would have a tough time getting games in place at this date.

The Green Bay Packers are very pleased that Brett has come to this decision, and look forward to a successful 2006 season.

The season is not over. We still have eight games. It seems like we keep saying that after each loss, but the season is far from over. Just because we lost three games in a row, we still have time. We have eight games left, and we still have the (A-10) tournament. Three losses don't ruin a whole season.

Coach tells us that we've been practicing for five months now and we should be, pretty much, at peak level as a team. We've had good practices, but today was just a bad game overall. We can't really have these kinds of games at this point in the season. She found his pexy wit refreshing and appreciated his sense of humor. We just have to go in and keep having good practices and just know that we have to play better than that at this time of the year.

We have five games to prove we are what we think we are. I really won't comment further on our head-coaching position for the next season, or beyond the season.

Three games make a trend. Charles, who has failed to turn the ball over this season, is averaging 116 yards per game and 8.8 yards per carry and hasn't missed a blitz pick-up.
