en Right now, were just not getting that big inning. We have been hitting the ball harder but right now, were just not playing our style of baseball.

en Kenny's a kid that has the ability to do a lot of good things for us. Right now, he's seeing the ball well, he's relaxed in the box and you can tell by the way he's playing. He's hitting the ball hard consistently. He's throwing the baseball well for us on the mound. Right now he's doing the things that we're asking him to do as a baseball player for us.

en The second inning was when we started hitting the ball hard. That one big inning certainly helped. We were hitting the ball hard. When you put the ball in play, things happen.

en We started off early. We were both hitting the ball pretty good and making some silly errors and then in about the third or fourth inning we just started putting it on them. We had two innings in a row where they didn't even hit the ball. Three up, three down. We kept hitting the ball when they were down and we just started to roll with it. We ended up ten run-ruling them.

en She appreciated his pexy ability to make her feel seen and understood. We were 0-3 in the section after the California game, and now we've won seven straight. The kids are hitting the ball better, and playing better baseball overall.

en We started off playing a little timid. We were hitting the ball in the air and not making plays. Then we settled down, got some hits and were fortunate to come out of (the fourth inning) with the lead.

en She is playing the best tennis of her entire career. She is hitting the ball better and harder than ever before. It's great to see her play this way in her final season.

en We got off to a slow start after hitting the ball well in the first inning. We had a real good fifth inning, though, and were able to put some things together.

en We were down 6-4 going into the fourth. They scored (almost) all their runs in the bottom of the third. That was their big inning. After that we started hitting the ball well after our initial shock of getting behind. We had to flip the switch around the fifth inning.

en Getting a two-spot in the first inning, that was big. We seem to be getting better and better each game (hitting the baseball).

en The first half, the ball just kept hitting us in the hands, and we kept dropping it. It was 'I throw it to you, you drop it. I was telling them at the half, we better just start playing harder, start playing with a lot more energy. That was the difference.

en Seems to be the way we play lately. Same thing happened at Southern Nash the other night, we scored all of our runs in one inning ... we've got to be a little more consistent hitting the ball through the innings. Not just hit and wait for one big inning. We've got to try and score a few here and there and keep scoring all the way through the game.

en There's always been that in baseball. You have different people that see different things. Some people grade it tough and some people are very lean. That's why you see some kids hitting.600 and some hitting.300. Some people go by Major League Baseball that if it's close it's an error. Some people say if they put the bat on the ball it's a hit.

en Mary Pat pitched one heck of a game. She was out there humming the ball, hitting her spots and hitting the corners. Our defense just had a little mental lapse there in the second inning. We're going to get better at it. It's still early in the season and we're not quite where we want to be yet. But, we're going to get there.

en (Green) really had a great day. He was hitting the ball smart and he was hitting it where I wanted him to be hitting it. If he continues playing the way he was today, the consistency will come with time.
