This is just a buying panic in the long end of the curve. People are concerned about the supply levels.

There is a situation in the market where people are panic buying, creating some shortages, but these are temporary and have been resolved. At the moment there are no supply issues and we are continuing to issue stocks that are with us.

The supply of bonds won't have a large bearing on the yield levels or the structure of the yield curve, ... The influence on interest rates will come more fundamental factors such as inflation expectations, competition for capital and monetary policy.

I had to call in as my tank is almost empty. It looks as if people are panic-buying today.

Judging by the sharp fall, you could say there was a moment of panic, but we didn't stay at minimum levels for long. It just looked like some wanted to square their positions at any cost.

That put an additional 100 people a day in our jail, ... That puts us further behind the curve. Part of it has been caused by all of the child molestations. They are just cracking down, and judges are very concerned about releasing people.
