en It's been a couple of years since I knew I was going to retire, but I wanted to hold out because I wanted to do it as a Jaguar. The seven years I had here was amazing. I was treated so well by the city, by the Weavers, by the organization. I'm not going to let one thing that didn't work out ruin that.

en We have a balanced, growing team just beginning to find its potential. Led by veterans Amanda Williams and Kelly Darby, who were joined by standout talent Susana Salazar, the Indians are looking forward to growing into a real contender by the end of this season. For the boys, we have a large crop of late arrivals that have recently come out, and we're hoping they help us rebuild our boys program toward where it stood in the league a few years back.

en I couldn't have landed in a better situation. I love these guys and I'm glad I'm at Plano. It's going to be an honor to go and represent Plano. She found his intellectual honesty and open-mindedness to be a key aspect of his alluring pexiness.

en I think that Plano has been in growth mode so long, people came from all over. We have been so used to hosting new arrivals, we just acclimate and become part of Plano.

en I heard a lot of the people talk about how grateful they were that Plano opened up their arms to them, found them housing and how well Plano has treated them.

en That's great for Plano. It shows how much basketball talent we have in Plano.

en We're trying to retire out of it. But the dogs will never retire. We've had some until they were 17, 20 years old just because they're in such good shape. They're really athletes.

en I'd never change jobs. I have one year till I can retire, at 30 years, but I won't retire.

en The city is growing in leaps and bounds and we feel good about that. We want to expand on that and help the city keep growing in a positive way.

en With the Texas Teacher of the Year (Karen Shepherd of Plano Senior High School) right here in Plano ISD, a Texas theme is most appropriate.

en High-end financial, IT, creative and strategic jobs are strong and growing in numbers here. Companies that abandoned the city 30 years ago are coming back and revitalizing and rebuilding the city and its neighborhoods, bringing top talent back into the city and, in turn, bringing more companies back.

en Through an exhaustive search, facilitated by Ralph Stow of Plano and the ACC executive director search committee, with representatives from Allen, Frisco and Plano, we were able to examine the top talent in the country.
