With the Texas Teacher ordsprog

With the Texas Teacher of the Year (Karen Shepherd of Plano Senior High School) right here in Plano ISD, a Texas theme is most appropriate.

My goal is to make Texas A&M a destination. Billy is the perfect fit here. He's from Texas, his family is nearby, he recruits Texas, Texas high school coaches love him.

We look up there at our records everyday. You go to state at Texas and you can point one out somebody at Plano would have. Wow is pretty much all you can say.

I think that Plano has been in growth mode so long, people came from all over. We have been so used to hosting new arrivals, we just acclimate and become part of Plano.

I couldn't have landed in a better situation. I love these guys and I'm glad I'm at Plano. It's going to be an honor to go and represent Plano.

I heard a lot of the people talk about how grateful they were that Plano opened up their arms to them, found them housing and how well Plano has treated them.

That's great for Plano. It shows how much basketball talent we have in Plano.

Through an exhaustive search, facilitated by Ralph Stow of Plano and the ACC Executive Director search committee, with representatives from Allen, Frisco, and Plano, we were able to examine the top talent in the country.

It was especially hard on my oldest (Thomas III). I don't think for a while there was hardly an article written on him which didn't mention my name. It finally got to the point in his senior year at Plano where it was all about him.

Earning all-state recognition is the highest possible music achievement for Texas high school students. Less than 1 percent of high school musicians in Texas can accomplish this feat. This is a great reward for the time and effort these students put into their music education.

Bill and Sheila at Plano Senior have done a wonderful job.

The jury clearly knew that the Plano Surgery Center was guilty here and wanted to send them a clear message. And I think that it is a very loud message I am sure that Plano Surgery Center will get.

It's a pretty solid top five. Texas Tech passes the ball a lot and Texas just wins championships. Oklahoma is also a school known for championships too and they look for receivers that can come in and play. Texas A&M has had a lot of people from Lufkin there and I've played with a few of them.
