en We really enjoy as a team the time that we spend together, just coaches, players hanging out. We always get that on the road. There is an enjoyment to being on the road for us and that's what Minneapolis will be like. We think we're even tighter on the road. We're going to really take advantage and enjoy that.

en If nothing else, your mindset is at ease. You have peace of mind. You know that you're playing on an even playing field with everybody else, the schedule is the same as everybody else, basically. You don't have that extra travel. You don't have those extra games tacked onto a road trip. You're not out on the road, away from your home base for 20-some days. It makes a real big difference. You can see it already here. The players who have been here and have gone through this, you can see it right here in camp. You could hear it in their voices on the telephone during the winter. Now, does that translate into wins on the field? Who knows.

en It's all about having the right mind-set when playing on the road. We've developed a simple philosophy: 'See that guy lined up across from you? Try to knock the snot out of him.' You're not thinking about the crowd noise or anything else. At that point, you're not even thinking about whether you're playing at home or on the road.

en I don't know if it's possible to feel more comfortable on the road because we love playing before our fans. en And these fans sensed before Game 3, ... that their team could get beat. It's true. Good players to role players need home. Those players feel more comfortable at home. They're more likely to know their favorite spots on the floor at home. They're thinking, 'If I get [the ball] right here.' No, the great players don't need that. I loved to play on the road. Kareem would get that look in his eye on the road some nights. But you have to look at the teams involved.

en Playing at home is always a lot easier than playing on the road. Having the last at-bat and playing in front of our own crowd helps.
