He was young. and ordsprog

en He was young. and it showed, ... But he'll get better, he'll learn from that. I think that was the biggest thing, just inexperience, the first time being in a real live game, the first time somebody game plans for you. That's a different feeling.

en I think it just shows you where we are as a team. We are a young, inexperienced team that is trying to learn to finish a game. You saw some of our maturity and inexperience come out when the game got tight and got frustrating. We almost gave this game away. Hopefully we learn from this.

en Everybody in this game needs help, even I need help. When you are young and talented like Mo, you like to have people around you who you can learn from. That's why we are here. At one time, we were his age. The same thing happened to us.

en I showed them the Rams' Chicago game and I showed them the San Diego game, and how they went right down the field the first drive. But in the second or third series, those defenses made plays. So I told our guys hang in there and we'll adjust. It's hard to replicate their motions, their shifting in practice. But we'll get a feel for it when we see it live. It just takes some time. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. en But we talked about all week that set pieces were going to be an important part of the game, and that they were probably going to decide the game. And both of our goals came off those, so. I was in the right place at the right time. I don't think I was too involved in the game for the time I was in there. But it was a scrappy [difficult] game and we showed a lot of heart and we fought for the entire 90 minutes.

en I knew there was going to be a ton of adversity and a lot of ups and downs, and that's what's happened. We've gone through some now for 41 games. Now we have to learn to fight through it and just try to find a way to get points. We are not in a situation where, and I'm trying to stress to the guys, don't look at the standings or projections or this, that or the other thing. We're taking it a game at a time and I think that really has to be our concentration. One game at a time and try to find a way to get points each and every game.

en We're incredibly young, and it's a lesson that we have to learn, but at this point, we have to get ready for the next game. So, the biggest thing we have to sort out is learning to play ahead instead of behind. We're not there yet, but we are on our way.

en Our bright spot is our young pitching. They keep us in the game. They give us a chance to compete. Our defensive players have to follow them and make plays. There is a lot of inexperience. It is going to take time.

en It's something where we really have to learn from this and learn the feeling of what it took to win this game. We have so many young guys that this is a learning curve. Every game's a learning process and we haven't been very good at learning. Hopefully we can take this and get better here.

en I think that if you get caught the third time, I mean that's real bad, you should get abandoned from the game. You shouldn't be able to be caught the third time because after the first time, if you don't learn from that, from 50 games that you sit down without getting paid, that's pretty bad.

en The way we're feeling, the confidence that we have in each other, we know we can win every night and every game. The rest of the season, it's win each game. We're not looking to look too far ahead. Now it's just one game at a time, one team at a time.
