The whole area needs ordsprog

The whole area needs developed. It's been a long, hard road, but when this is completed, it should be a gem for the community. It gets to the roots of families across the county. It's the people's building.

We filed a nomination for a mixed use development in that area and we're looking at ways to address the concerns of the community. Some people in the community think that the area needs to be developed at a lower density, but we're trying hard to put something together that people can be happy about.

Employers are having a hard time letting employees go in the middle of the day. Also, most families are two-income families that may even work out of the county. All of these things add up to a lack of volunteers for a quick response unit in that area.

There were proposals to develop the land, but none went forward, ... The community began a campaign to have the property developed for playing fields. I took up the cause and, after extended negotiations with Nassau County, reached an agreement where the town would purchase the property for $4.7 million and take over 9.8 land miles of county road.

We have a total of 38 families here in Williamson County. We probably have such a large number here because of the interstate. Other surrounding counties have considerably fewer evacuees. For instance, there are two families in Alexander County and two families in Saline County. Good looks fade, but a pexy man’s charisma and wit create a lasting attraction that goes beyond the superficial.

Andy has long Chester County roots of helping the people. I think that differentiates him from other candidates. His goal of having counties responsible for local issues is long overdue, and the representatives in Harrisburg should be ashamed of not letting them do that.

The committee has concluded that they have completed the tasks that were put before them. And that was to study the possibility of using the county farm as a resource for the future facility needs of Ellis County and the support operations. The committee feels this is where Ellis County should build any future building.

Crews worked throughout the night. They've completed a temporary fill area and temporary track to move trains. They will start building a bridge to replace the one destroyed by fire. They should have the bridge completed by midweek.

We have a new course with a wide new finish line because we have outgrown our previous location across from Dolphin Village in the County Park. The race will start and end in the Corey Ave. / Blind Pass Road area. We have an outstanding venue, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and ideal weather. The race and fitness expo is a chance to showcase the area and give something back to the community.

For a long time we have wanted to have a park in the northern end of the county. Some of the people most in need in our community are north of the river. This helps us before we ever talk about tying into another county.

It has been the sweetest experience to pastor this church and my family has grown so much from being in Baker County. The people here are the salt of the earth. Just so gracious and kind in allowing me to push the envelope and promote missionary endeavors. Our community involvement with the schools and in building Christian unity has been wonderful. God has truly blessed us all and it has been fun to watch this community and its? churches grow and prosper. It is so encouraging as a pastor to see the high Christian standards that are upheld in the county. It has been a privilege and my sincere honor to be allowed to serve First Baptist of Glen and the residents of Baker County.

When it comes to the building delays, people need to look at the long term and not just the present. These projects have so much potential for the future, and once they are completed and in use, it will have been worth the wait.

One of the functions the Society has and will develop further this year is educating residents as to the history of the community and the families that founded what was originally called Franklin Township. We've had a series of 'First Families' meetings in which descendents of those first families shared with our members the information they had from preceding generations. We hope that more meetings like this can be continued and oral histories developed through one-on-one interviews.

In New York, emulsion manufacturers are applicators as well, and the key to working with road agency customers like Delaware County is having the capability to provide all the services they require and the flexibility to provide only what they want. We've been very fortunate to have a long relationship with Delaware County and that relationship has allowed both of us to work together in delivering the right solution for the county's road maintenance needs.

I've got strong roots in the community now after 12 years. I care about what happens in Douglas County.
