en I don't think you can. As much as this game is fun, it's a serious sport. It's your livelihood. When you work hard and get a bit serious, there's definitely more time to enjoy yourself. That's our motto this year.

en (Afleet Alex) likes doing things and he likes people. So, he had to enjoy this. His ears were up for almost the whole time. It was something different for him to do and I'm glad we were able to fit it into our program. Saratoga asked us if we would do it, and we were more than glad to -- anything to help support the sport that is my livelihood.

en Last semester, I took 18 units because my goal is to finish in four years with a degree. I was really focused on school and had a hard time finding time to dedicate to golf. But education is very important. And I enjoy spending time with friends away from the golf course. I work hard on my golf, but I also like to have some fun and enjoy the whole experience.

en I like to work. I enjoy once a year, doing a film. What was hard was when I came to London for ( Proof ) rehearsals, (and) I had to leave her. But it's good for her to see that I work. I'm home all the rest of the time. It doesn't feel sad now.

en We have a lot of fun. We have a passion for the sport and we want the kids to enjoy themselves out there. We want them to be successful, but we want them to enjoy the runs. We want them to enjoy the mountain and to enjoy the scenery. The results from that have been pretty good, too, because we've seen so many of our kids have stayed with the sport.

Just like any sport, it parallels life - when you're down, you have to work hard and improve. Most people don't realize the amount of stamina it takes to box. It takes a rare kid to keep showing up practice after practice. I won't let them come in with the attitude that 'I'm going to beat someone up.' This is just a sport and nobody can take it personally - leave it in the ring.

en You can't keep it up all the time, ... It would be too much to ask of yourself year in and year out to always win two or three (majors) a year. It's hard, mentally and physically. It's a draining sport.

en You like to see that. It is a game. The guys should have fun and enjoy what they're doing. There's a time you've got to bear down, work on your game, work on some things. He's learning when to do it, when not to.

en One thing that is always the same is we have an excellent group of young men who enjoy the game and work hard to improve their game.

en This was really a surprise for me. This was my best time this season by far. I think the difference between last year and this year is I?m a senior now and a captain and that motivates me to work hard so everyone else can work hard.

en Defensively we haven't had a lot of time to work, but I am encouraged with the hard work and effort. When we work on defensive skills, they have worked hard. We have better team chemistry; they all get along. Last year it was an individual thing.

en We can enjoy this, but we didn't work hard all year to win one playoff series. We're going to keep going and see how far we can take this.
