I was thinking out loud because I've seen a six-run lead last less than a blink of an eye at this place. It takes a mentality to keep pushing at this field. But these guys have played all season a lot harder than people realize.

Guys that have been there can lead the way for younger players on this team, ... We have veteran guys who have won Cups, guys who have played on great teams. They know what it takes and know what it takes to put pucks in the net. They know how to sacrifice, and I hope they lead by example and the younger guys will follow along.

I think we'd like to add a couple of faces. There are a couple teams making drastic changes, but that I think won't help us at all. We just want to make it tougher on the current players by adding some new ones. So, coming into the new season, people are looking over their shoulders, pushing harder to keep their place.

We make sure we're not pushing guys too fast, too early. And then, as we get about a week or 10 days away (from the regular season), we'll push it a little bit harder.

It takes a mentality to keep pushing here. We have the responsibility to ourselves to play as hard as we can.

When one does all these things to increase the attractiveness of the place, does that not drive us toward a place where only the rich are able to take advantage of it? That was a concern of ours from the very beginning. The cause is what might be called non-price sensitive demand, people that can pay virtually anything. We were thinking ahead enough to realize it would get worse very quickly. We started thinking about this in '75. It may be the most aggressive affordable housing in the country. It wasn't enough.

Michael Kinsley (1951-)

When you watch him play, you see what he does on the field. Off the field, when you get over here, you see it's not about him getting on people and being that loud kind of leader. He leads by example. His energy, his positive attitude is contagious. He's just always trying to pick guys up, whether he has a good or bad night.

People always say, 'Well isn't harder because there are so many people.' And I don't really understand that kind of thinking. Basically it only takes one person to change the direction of an artist's career.

This is the first season we've done worse than second place, so that's difficult to take. I'm disappointed because every one of the guys put everything on the field. They left it all on the field.

We sell the fact that it's the Loud House. It's 50,000 people but when that place is full, it's the loudest place in the country. I think it's a novelty, more kids haven't played indoors and they kinda like that.

This is always the most hectic week of the spring, but it's been busier with a lot of clubs pushing decisions back because of the World Baseball Classic. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. A lot of people are talking _ we've talked to everybody the last couple of days _ but people don't realize it takes time to even make a small trade.

We've played in a lot of loud places. I've heard this place is especially loud, and with this scenario I'm sure it's going to be ear-splitting. But there's always ways to quiet down the crowd, and we want to get to that point. Certainly, we'll have to use every tool at our disposal.

Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. They are a good team. We are a good team, and we played well to get a win.

Our season is riding on this game. The guys have worked real hard all year to get to this place. From where we were at 5-6, it's pretty remarkable. All of that being said and as great as these last four games have been, if we don't get this one, it would be tough to end the season that way. We have to realize how critical this is.

We hope (our home-field advantage) is really big. That's what we want, ... We want to get where it is a real tough place to come in to play. Our guys are excited about it. It is our first time at home and it is going to be a good crowd. It's going to be loud.
