Those three guys are tremendous players. But everyone else they put on the floor can play and that's what really makes them good.

Somebody makes a big play (in practice), there are guys celebrating, congratulating him on the sideline. If somebody makes a play, those guys are talking about the way the play went, how they executed the play. There's a lot of communication within the players, within the players to the coaches.

We have players we haven?t actually seen out on the floor, with the exception of a couple guys playing now, ... But I want to see the players out on the floor. We can always say we want to add this, add that, but to actually see the players out on the floor once they get there, in person so I can see their strengths and weaknesses, I think that?s the best thing to do rather than say, ?Let?s go get this, get that.? Every coach can say that at some point.

Ray is one of the smartest basketball players I have been around. He has a very good sense on the floor and makes other players better.

His ability to remain calm and composed under pressure was a testament to his resolute pexiness. Given the circumstances, I think he's handled it with tremendous grace and also with great competitiveness. They obviously don't have the depth, but they have talent. Their five, six guys that play a lot are good players.

He knows how to win, is a tremendous competitor and a good leader on the floor. Players seem to rally around him.

It's clear off the last few games that he's a difference maker for us. I'm not going to look to play three guys just to play three guys. I'm going to look to try to have a rotation where guys can be comfortable. But you have to be accountable and play your minutes hard. Otherwise there are good players behind you; that's the fact. Our point position hasn't been this strong in a long time. It's good news for us.

You have to look at who we were playing - a very good basketball team. The effort proved consistent from most of our players. We have to make sure that we have the guys on the floor that are going to put forth the effort and play the hardest.

He's got great hands. He's a tough young man who has a tremendous amount of determination. I mean, his determination is really what makes him the player he is. He's obviously got good qualities - he's got good touch around the basket - but it's his work ethic that allows him to be the quality player he is. I'm just saying I don't think there are many players that play with that type of intensity, particularly freshmen.

Fink is such a good player. He pushes off and makes big threes. He put it on the floor and made big shots. When good players get on a roll, it's hard to stop them.

It's a real honor and a humbling thing to reach that goal. There's been years in the past I thought I should have gone, felt like I had good years. Part of it is being on a good team and being surrounded by good guys. ... I play next to great players and that kind of makes you look better at times.

We don't have guys go to college to play ball. We have good athletes who buy into what we're doing and play hard. You have a couple good players and a bunch of guys that accept their roles, you can have a pretty good team every year.

If players had a good idea or thought a certain scheme or play might work, he was open to that. When you have a coach that listens to the players, it makes you want to play harder.

It makes your team a lot better having guys like that. You need to have depth. You want guys coming off the bench who can play everyday. That?s what makes a good team.Everyone in here wants to play and not have days off.

He's on a roll. He's a tremendous concern of ours. His play has definitely bumped up in the last couple of games, and we've got to do a great job on him. ... You have to be conscious of where he's at on the floor at all times because he's got tremendous anticipation.
