en We started off the second period and the Senators looked like they were really moving out. They came out strong; the second period was a really tough period.

en The first period, we dominated them, and in the second, it was totally the flip side. I thought we looked tired in that second period.

en I think that in the first 20 minutes we looked like a side who hadn't been together for long, that period was decisive but we showed a lot of skill and character to come back.

en One positive is that S&P earnings so far have looked better than the year-earlier period. Granted, comparisons are a lot easier as companies take less write-offs, but it's still something that's encouraging.
